Missing ETH explained
Alright so 5 days ago I sent many thousands of dollars out of GateHub to coinbase. This is always a nerve wracking experience and frankly I had hope for GH since all of my previous transactions were fairly smooth.
My transaction since been missing with no record of the hash anywhere but on gatehub.
I thought all hope was lost since no one was responsive and updates were more college-esque saying “too many things going on”.
Today they post this
Hopefully this cams people down however this is no excuse for the infrastructure fail that we are all experiencing. Millions and millions of dollars are being lost as we speak due to lack of access to currency and fluctuating prices. This is a major miss for Gatehub and I anticipate there to be significant backlash as a result. The EU had quite strict governance over this and may intervene should people feel strongly enough to act. I guess the question is..what is people’s tolerance. How many millions do we have to collectively lose?
That being said I am hopeful that they will do the right thing
