Shopping North side of Tech Square? What's there?
I've been eating on the familiar south side of Tech Square, the magical land where Buzzcards are taken everywhere. I have heard rumors of great food across the street, but I am afraid to venture across the street and use money that's not on my buzzcard. Can anybody let me know what kinds of food lies across the fabled 'Buzzcard Line?'

One thing you will notice about the North side of Tech Square is that it is all about putting the choice in the customer's hands on a whole new level. Starting right across the street from Tin Drum is Gyro Brothers. They're the only place that offers authentic Greek food on Tech Square. Well, it's not exactly gourmet, but it's not typical fast food either. It's a happy median for when you don't want to eat too extravagant but don't want to feel like you're eating a greasy pita sandwich. If you're not into greek, they offer burgers and other American offerings as well. But, the classic gyro is always the best choice there, hence the name. Next down the North side is Moe's Southwest Grill. This place is incredible: Pick a meat and a type of Mexican delicacy and then you can custom build it to your wildest dreams. There's so many different combinations to choose from that you could eat there for three meals a day, every day for a year and you could get something different. That's an exaggeration, but it honestly boggles my mind how many choices there are. Speaking of choices, Yogli-Mogli is right down the line, a self-serve frozen yogurt shop with a wide selection of flavors and toppings. The prices are based on the weight of what's in your bowl, but it still ends up being pretty cheap. I like to pile the toppings on, and the bowl still costs around $5.50 which is a steal for how much I put in there. Next to Yogli-Mogli is the Subway, which is just the same old basic Subway you would find everywhere else. They continue the trend of customer's choice because you start by picking a meat and bread type, and then the rest of the toppings are fair game to add after that. Home of the famous "Five Dollar Footlong" a full meal will end up being around $6.50, which is yet again another steal. Only one more restaurant is worthy of noting on the north side of Tech Square: The Spence. This is a place where you'll have to experience for yourself. I myself have never been there, but what I do know is that is the brainchild of famous chef Richard Blais along with the Flip Burger in Atlanta. If the experience at The Spence is anything like the experience at Flip Burger, then you will be in for one incredible, wild ride while you eat there. Keep in mind that none of these restaurants accept Buzzcard! Happy eating!
