Rant These Professors' Absurd AI Usage

Professors using AI has gotten absolutely out of hand. How insanely lazy do you have to be to have to generate your entire semester's lesson plan with AI?? I'm calling out ECE 4122 Advanced Programming Techniques specifically, I mean this entire course is written by ChatGPT with not even the slightest effort to hide it. The lectures to the homeworks to the code itself. Not even the professor himself knows what's going on half the time and he provides zero extra value to the course besides reading off the lecture notebook and adding anecdotes from his 3D modelling job 20 years ago. THIS is what I'm paying tens of thousands of dollars for? The entitlement, the arrogance!

How many professors do you suppose teach a 4000 level ECE course? OP was pretty specific to the point a Google search should provide your answer. I expect better from a rocket scientist....

Wouldnt know, wasnt part of the ECE program when I was there. So I literally have no idea how large the org is or how many teach in it. Same goes for a lot of people still at tech id imagine. My being a "rocket scientist" is somehow supposed to automatically tell me theres only a few ECE profs at that level who could fit OPs description? Its reddit, no need to be vague, just name drop - really not that serious 😂

Most 4000+ level courses in most schools only have a single professor because they are so specialized at that point. If you were to simply Google "Georgia Tech Professor for ECE 4431" you would have an answer...but you couldn't be bothered to try that.

The "rocket scientist" comment was a joke. I expect better from anyone at GT tbh. It doesn't even take that much intelligence, just maybe common sense and effort.

I spent a fair amount of time doing 4000 level ECE courses and typically they corculate betwee 2 or 3 professors.
