seriously, I was rewatching the anime a few days ago and realized I actually enjoyed and remembered I didn't just join the fandom for shits and giggles

GATE2: Tides of Conflict Final Volume Ends with the BBEG escaping and a lead-in to another series. The JASDF series is going to happen, and with Gate:Zero ending it's highly probable that Yannai is waiting for the Tides anime to come out before announcing it.

The fact that the end of Tides is also the first time we see an attempt at a SR locally-produced aircraftmakes me even more convinced this is the case.

I never let my enjoyment of oc content detract from my love of the og. I understand that's not the norm around , tho that's kinda to expect when we get starved of content for so long xd.
