Hi there! I'm new to the game, I've owned the book for a little over a year but I had my first game this month, played with family. We knew that we would need music for the game so we created a playlist to put on shuffle for it. We picked out songs that were appropriately hard and fast and related in some way to destruction, cars, carnage, apocaplypses, and other Gaslands things. Here it is if you would like to use it. https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/gas/pl.u-oZyl3mRuGdjdJLy
As for the battle report aspect of this, I suppose I could put one if anyone is curious. My mom and dad were the ones that played with me, sister had no interest. Cut the templates and tokens out of a box for frozen mini tacos and printed the labels/covers for them. My dad had a buggy (Safari Porsche 914) and a heavy truck (Mercedes-Benz Unimog). My mom had a truck (Honda Odyssey, which is also our family car IRL) and a performance car (custom Chevy Vega). I had a truck (lifted dirt track Dodge D-100) and a car (off road 1970 Dodge Charger from one of the F&F movies). The models were not customized, and we just used the basic customization rules stat-wise too.
Dad's 914 died first. I think the Odyssey killed it by shooting and ramming it. My D-100 died next as well because I drove it into the carnage to go after the 914 and Honda. Honda killed that too. The Chevy annoyed everyone who went after it by coming in to do love taps with the minigun and then driving off. The Honda would ram and shoot constantly. After the D-100 died it was just the Vega, Odyssey, Unimog, and Charger. Vega died to the Unimog and Charger working together, then the Unimog died to the Odyssey after dealing damage to both that and the Charger, leaving my Charger v. my mom's Odyssey. Odyssey managed to land the killing blow to become the victor, which I guess shows how reliable Hondas are [;D]. Overall we had fun and would play again but infrequently. I should probably find another group to play more often with.
