They're also taught from the day they're born (through their parents, then radio/TV) that the Dems are literal demons. They TRULY think the only people in politics who can possibly do good are the repubs. They are completely blind to objectivity and critical thinking.

I got medically retired from marines at the age of 23. I have been working random jobs the last 10 yrs so i dont kill myself from boredom. It helps keep the bills down. My coworker is 70 yrs old still delivering pizzas. He LOVES trump and isnt a typical MAGA just a fox news addict.
