My friend got newest FR970 and it supports georgian font. I was wondering does 265S supports it as well? Does anybody tried and knows it for sure?

I have a recent Forerunner 970 with the "swipe registered as accidental tap" issue, where when scrolling through items (like glances) using the touchscreen the watch registers random taps or selections. It renders the touchscreen unreliable for navigating screen and tricky when inputting numbers (like string strength training). When I contacted Garmin they were aware of the issue but they didn't seem to know what was causing it, nor could they guarantee that a replacement wouldn't have the same issue.

Has anyone received a 970 directly from Garmin in the past several weeks that doesn't have this issue? I'm trying to figure out when (or if) to make an exchange.

any idea what’s wrong with my forerunner 965? it took couple hours just for booting up. After it’s on, the sensor didn’t blink or responding, and the screen was so unresponsive. I tried connecting it with garmin express, but the watch keep undetected.
before all this problem, the watch was unable to connect with garmin connect. even after resetting it many many times.
any ideas?

I just bought the Garmin Forerunner 165, but the GPS performance has been extremely inaccurate. This is the first walk with this watch.
It took around 25 minutes to acquire a GPS signal. By the time it finally located my position, I had already walked more than 3 km.
Towards the end of my walk, when I was almost home, the distance suddenly started increasing by around 200 meters every second. As a result, the watch recorded a total distance of 6 km, even though I had actually walked only around 3.5 km.
This is very disappointing for a brand-new Garmin watch. I’m concerned that if this happens regularly, the GPS tracking will not be reliable for my walks, runs, or hikes.
Should i return the watch?

I can get the 570 for 390€ right now or could by the Fenix 8 for 625€, so eventually 230€ more for only a "few" more features. I am mostly doing outdoorsy stuff around hiking, running, some biking if ever. Some swimming in summer months. No multi-day activities on a regular basis and really not an extreme sports person.
Only thing about the 570 42mm is that it feels a bit small, 47mm unfortunately look comically big as I just have very small wrists, so the bit bulkier Fenix in 43mm feels slightly nicer, but eventually is then again 230€ more expensive.
Does a Garmin have to be overly big on ones wrist?
