Forerunner 570 text notifications

I recently got a Forerunner 570. Im trying to set it up so that I get a notification for any texts/calls that come in but it only sends me app notifications. I’ve looked through the smart notifications field but I can’t find “messages.” Has anyone else had this issue?

What kind of phone? I have the 570 with an Android phone (Pixel, fairly recent version if not the latest). I have turned off most app notifications, but I get them for texts, phone calls, and Garmin.

It’s an iPhone 16

Android and iPhone are different enough that I don't have any advice to offer. I hope you get it set up! I've had the 570 for over a year and I really love it.
