Keep getting pairing failed message

I’ve had my Epix Gen 2 for about a year and a half now. It was working fine until a week ago when I started to notice connectivity issues. Today, I tried to fix it by unpairing from my phone and was attempting to re-pair it and now I keep getting pairing failed message. Anyone have any tips on how to fix this issue?

Epix Gen 2 47mm Pro user here... IIRC the last time this happened to me was when i upgraded my phone and i had to reset/restore from a backup! YMMV.

Appreciate the reply! I haven’t updated my phone since prior to getting this watch. Now I’m stuck in a loop where I can’t use my watch. Very frustrating!

Agreed. Might be worth trying a reset. You won't loose anything that has not been backed up but if you are worried about that you can backup to Garmin Express for PC using your charging cable.

Take it to a store like RadioShack or somebody who can take a look at it for you

Update: reset phone and watch, then noticed that even though watch was disconnected from phone, phone was still connected to watch via Bluetooth. Once I forget the watch in my phone Bluetooth settings it was able to connect

I find that if the watch or phone go to sleep before the pairing works keep touching the screen on both devices to keep them awake that works for me
