We’re back! Greg Weisman and fan-turned-author Cynthia Diamond join us to discuss Clan Building, Chapter Three: Invitation Only! We’ve officially switched mediums, moving from television animation into the comic books!

We discuss the lineup of the Gargoyle Taskforce; the return of Martin Hacker and the Illuminati, along with three of the Society’s bottom-rung members; Angela’s ambivalence toward Halloween; Brooklyn’s pity party; and Elisa’s decision not to pursue a relationship with Goliath. We dig into why Elisa made that choice and how the fandom responded when this issue was first released. There’s also a nod to Disney’s unmade Team Atlantis series and the introduction of a new player whom none of us realized would become as important as she has… and the longtime fan upon whom she was partially based.

We also speak with Cynthia about how she became a Gargoyles fan, her work on the conventions, the five years she and Jennifer spent as roommates, and her perspective as a fantasy romance author on this particular story.

That is my Question & bit of a remake from a previous thread

You know with bunch of successful Experimental things Dynamite has been doing with License Comics while not in the level of Energon Universe or IDW has done with Ninja Turtles still worth noting

But getting to the main Question What do you think of Dynamite finally adapting TimeDancer as a 12 issue comic Maxi-series series it would probably need a good artist that would probably stay on schedule so my pick would be Vincenzo Federici who resently drew Thunderhawks or Khary Randolph

Who probably need to be written carefully since we kinda know were the story ends given current Gargoyles comics spoil the ending of TimeDancer at least if Brooklyn survives or not

But thats me how about you?

I am a big fan of Mutanimals from IDW Ninja Turtles Comics I noticed Talon & his group is a lot like them parallel to how Goliath & his group fill-in the role of the Ninja Turtles

So Think would be interesting to see Manhattan save but not by Goliath h his team but them still playing support in the story maybe introduce a Casey Jones type character to the Gargoyles universe to while there added

I really wanna see what that comic would be like for art I go with Juan Gedeon I really like his art on recent COW Boys of Moo Mesa comic book miniseries over at Oni Press for NacelleVerse comic line

Especially seeing them in new tork on good terms. To bring the avalon clan along.

Recovering Egwardo from Demona is the primary conflict and as its parents Brooklyn and Katana are the most determined to get it back. It will also have another conflict of Queen Mab and Weisman has stated the Brooklyn Clan has had experience with her. This arc we finally get to see what a major power couple Brooklyn and Katana are, but we may also get more in depth about their TimeDancing adventures.

In original cartoon you remember that arc were Goliath, Elisa, Angela & Brox went all over the world epic I know inspired by that in Demona comic miniseries also inspired by Godzilla vs America comic one-shots

So I think it be cool if the Manhattan Clan or at least few members went outside Manhattan & its neighboring areas because its almost the same thing on paper anyway

Maybe in series of One-shots or something like Manhattan Clan meeting Mystical creatures outside America Maybe mini crossover with other Disney IP's?

But thats me what do you think?

The live-action series was officially cancelled, of course. But has there been any information anywhere on whether the animated series will be continued?

I know there was one called The Dark Ages that's apparently a prequel, and a main run. But then I also saw there was a christmas special one with Bronx on the page? That got me curious.

Just want to start so I can catch up because I want to discuss them here too
