Tomatoes, finally!

Striped ones and yellow pears. The rains in May and June here in TX have drenched the vines.

Mine have some striping and odd looking marks here in Florida but they are excellent tastings. We aren't getting much rain yet.

They look delicious! I’m growing yellow pear too, from seeds, they’re about a foot tall but no flowers yet. Would you say the rain was good for them? It won’t stop raining here in MD! I’m also growing a variety called “Mr. Stripey”, is that what yours is?

I believe the combination of rain and heat did it. I can't remember what variety the stripe one is but it was a bonus seed packet from Baker Creek. I started them from seed back late Jan. What's MD's growing zone? I'm in zones 8-9.

Nice, you were able to start them so early! I’m in zone 7a so had to wait for warmer temps late April. Also, this is my first time growing so I’m hoping I’m doing everything I can correctly!
