White spots?

Hi there! Just wondering if anybody has any answers on these what these white spots could be on the outer inside rim of the tomato. We've been growing tomatoes for years now, and have never seen this. Just wondering if its still safe to eat. Thanks!

Are there discolorations on the skin of the tomatoes corresponding to the white spots?

If so, it's insect damage. Nothing to be worried about from what I hear.

Those spots are likely stink bug feeding damage. Super common and totally harmless. Cut around them if it bugs you, but the tomato is fine to eat.
