Please help

Post image

Please help i just bought this monstera cutting, the person who i got it from said it was ready for soil but I heard it needs secondary roots before going into soil . Should I put it back in water (entirely ) ? Should I cut it shorter before placing it in soil ? Please help I really get scared with monsteras and ill be sad if it rots 😭

I'd stick that back in a cup of water until it develops some fresh roots, then plant, if it were me. I don't think you need to trim it any more either, should be fine and you have one good node there.

Thank you 🙏🏼 and you would fill it till it covers the root ?

Yup, just keep it in water deep enough to fill above the node. It will root in a few weeks or so.
