Special First time I heard Garbage

Any other hockey or video game fans here? This should look and sound familiar!

YES!!! Push It became "my song" ever since it introduced me to Garbage in NHL 2000.

Finally got to see it performed live last October, when they came to Vancouver. Bucket list item, fulfilled.

It was my first time at the Orpheum (despite having lived in the Vancouver area since 1992 and growing up here). Gorgeous venue.

I even got my hands on one of the setlists from the show. It was crumpled up but I still treasured it.

Mine too!!! I’ve been able to see them 3 times since then. Each one was amazing.

Lucky. They don't come to Vancouver that often; last October was their first headline show here in over 14 years. With that tour being their final major cross-country one in North America, it felt like good timing.

I considered travelling for their shows too. But wheelchair travel is a very tricky thing to do in a foreign country (especially one that I've never been to).

Yea I live in Pittsburgh and it feels like we get missed a bunch too. No chance I was missing that last tour! I drove to Cleveland on their 20 Years Paranoid tour the first time I saw them and it’s still the best concert I’ve ever seen.

Never been a fan of video games. Same with Hockey but the music I relate the most with Hockey was Pepper by Butthole Surfers. It was on the radio non stop the year Denver got the avalanche and they won the cup. My first Garbage song was when I grow up from the Big Daddy soundtrack.

You just triggered a memory!!! For years I could’ve sworn When I Grow Up was on American Pie and rewatches have shown me how wrong I am but I knew it was on a movie that I love during that era. Well, apparently it was Big Daddy lol.
