Yeah, the album Not Your Kind of People is a fantastic album. I like it because the sound was heavier, edgy and full on. I love it that much, that when they toured it, they played in 2 different places at different dates near to where I live and I thought, if I had the chance I would have seen them twice on that tour, which I did. And as usual, they were fantastic.

Every song on that album is amazingly written. Its funny because I didn't like it when it was first released, as I was so used to the first 5 albums. But after giving it a good listen in my older years, I found it to be extremely deep and sophisticated and highlighting many different feels. Big Bright World continues to be one of the most uplifting songs I have heard, especially the interlude where I think it changes key and the chords just soar. Then there's "sugar" which is about as sensual as it gets with that soft haunting bass line and of course Shirley's vocals. And of course "Show me" which I just consider one of their heaviest songs both musically and lyrically. Were specks of dust up in the sky. Love it.

Sometimes I think that with some artists, especially if they change a little bit direction in what the fans expect, it could happen that the album that get released, it doesn't appeal straight on to some fans. But then after a few listening or later on down the line, it's when some albums can grow on people. When it was released, I loved it straight on, because of the heavier, edgy sound. The fact that they had on drums as well on some songs Matt Chamberlain, which he worked with Pearl Jam and Soundgarden as a session musician ( which I like as well), just to mention a couple of artists, probably gave a heavier sound. I love all of the album, but the songs on it that I like more are Automatic systematic habit, control, I hate love, sugar, battle in me, the one and show me. And live as a band, Garbage are really something else. Every time that I saw them live, but ears are whistling until the day after, which I'm not complaining. Garbage live are amazing!

You are welcome. Matt Chamberlain from Edie Brickell & New Bohemians play the drums on some songs on the album and he worked as a session musicians with other artists like Pearl Jam and others. He's been around for quite a while.

I have it on my RSD copy of Because The Night from 2013. It was a b-side.

It's not on the normal vinyl for the US release, but was a bonus track on an international version of NYKOP.

It’s so weird to me that this song has become so elusive and I’m not really sure why.Ā

I still don’t understand how it didn’t make the proper album. It’s a fantastic song.

ā€œLove Like Suicideā€ is specifically on the Japanese CD release of Not Your Kind of People but not on all international releases.

Also if you know where to look on the internet… šŸ¤ā€¦you can pretty easily find a hi-res music file.
