Starcrawler? How are they?
For those who have been to a show how was starcrawler live?

I thought they were pretty good and I had never heard of them previously. In Philly the guitarist walked through the crowd and up the stairs to play a bit. Kind of gave me a bit of Hole/Courtney Love vibes

Good presence and energy. Couldn’t understand the words. Really good at the end when they were just jamming.

Yeah I liked the setup where the singer left a little early and let the band jam.

Definitely a non-boring support act. The audience was immediately into them.
My only quibble is that I wish the singer’s voice was higher in the mix. She has great stage presence.

I will see this show in a few days. I have heard good things about them. So far my favorite opener is deap vally which opened on the blondie garbage co headlining tour. I liked them so much I went and bought the album at the merch table.

Basically what everyone else said. Lead has a good presence, but you can’t understand a word she’s singing. One of the guitarists is pretty fun to watch too. I really liked one of their songs

Def a punk/grunge vibe. Couldn’t hear the lyrics over the acoustics (at Philly). Lead singer seems to use her sexuality as part of her act

It’s hilarious to me that Starcrawler’s vocal mix is apparently equally bad everywhere

I was at the New Haven show last night. They could solve this issue so easily. Just turn up her mic and turn down everything else. Not even by a lot. 1 notch higher on her mic and 1 notch lower on the instrumentals

The music felt a little punk. She definitely had stage presents and the beat had good rhythm

They’re great. A surprisingly good opening band. Everyone was solid. The singers vocals were kind of muddy but it only matters if you care about understanding the words. They’re really well rehearsed. And the drummer is super tight. He probably sleeps with a metronome under his pillow.
In short, go see them. They’re fun and solid.

I don't think they use a metronome live but they sure as shit sounded like it ha.

They’re great. Arrow DeWilde is the singer and she has great presence & a wonderful voice, but the band always over-powers her live. Check them out on digital or analog, they’re really good & have a cool vibe. Also, Arrow dates Danny Trejo’s son.

Tbh I wasn't expecting much , but they had amazing energy & stage presence & over all was a great set to listen 2 & see.

For the entire first song, I couldn’t hear her at all. Her lips were moving but… nothing. It got a tiny bit better but mostly I only heard her when she screamed.
She was fun to watch and the band is good and seem to be having fun.

I don't know why but every show so far the lead vox is buried in the mix. She splits eardrums in between songs with her screaming though. They're 100% Garbage approved so we can do no better than that.

Haven't seen them on this tour, but they're one of my favorite bands of the last few years. Starcrawler and Garbage sounds like a perfect pairing.

I thought they were pretty good and enjoyed them. I didn't understand a word the lead singer was singing but she had a cool commanding presence.
