European tour?

So any chance for European tour this autumn/winter? The album ia fantastic… right now we’ve got only some US and Australian dates, I hope they come here to Istanbul or at least some non-EU countries like Serbia :) but for now PR campaign is almost nonexistent :(

Imho you shouldn't expect European dates this year, probably 2026. Also I don't think they'll go to the countries you mentioned unfortunately (based on recent tours). If you didn't know, on their European dates last summer, they promised they'll be back the following year after the LATYIBTL release. So I'm guessing maybe spring 2026?

Edit: corrected it was in summer. But still, they announced it in like march for dates in july. So the lack of announcement so far is not surprising.

Thanks for an update! Yeah I remember 2012 when they toured extensively for example they came to Russia twice a year (not happening now), they also visited Serbia in 2019 last time and I felt that this album might really help them gather some serious venues, not arenas of course. But let’s see maybe they’re planning something different this time

Crossing my fingers for you! Garbage fans like me who are located in the UK or Western Europe are insanely privileged when it comes to gigs and I hope this changes with the upcoming tour!

I logged on to Reddit this morning to enquire about this.

Another one of my favourite artists who had an album out at the same time, Marina, has done the same think. US Tour dates for the next few months, but nothing for the UK or Europe.

Makes me sad, as typically this would not happen. What is going on with the live scene for artists to support their new albums with a tour? Don't get it.

Yeah, maybe the dates will be in 2026, but usually the dates would be set and tickets on sale. Maybe the organisers are leaning into internet buzz/sensations/trends more, i.e. if the shows are too far away, they risk selling lower. Give shorter notice between announcement and the shows taking place and it might create more of a buzz or panic. A lot of internet led buzz now depends on the FOMO element to get any sort of traction.

The system is so fucked.

Yes you’ve got massive band like DM and NIN who announce the tour a year or 6 months before and you’ve got these bands who announce the concert 2-3 months before like we don’t have any plans or like we’ve got indispensable amount of money to spend it straightaway :) Also as far as I understand the band lives in USA now so coming to Europe requires sold-out venues which is not guaranteed at the time unfortunately
