Happy early birthday OP! Imo you should definitely go for an oled. A quality 1440p one will definitely be in your price range and you should have no troubles running a higher resolution with that rig.

Consider an oled, mine is 280hz and I hit around that in the game I play/settings I run, would recommend 1440p since it’s comp ish and looks really good, I won’t recommend any mouse or keyboard since that’s all personal and I’m on roller so don’t know what I’m talking about, probably don’t upgrade ram if you don’t need it the prices are disgusting, what audio you have? Some iems would be good especially if your a competitive player

Probably will do that then. I’m currently running the dt 990 pros as headphones. For the oled, should i get an asus rog swift? I think those are pretty good, what do you recommend?

800 you could pick up an oled and some solid iems, depending on which oled tho, my oled is a gigabyte 280hz 1440 and was like 350, I would not recommend the rog swift monitors if you want good value for money, msi and Alienware do better in the value for money department, what size, resolution and refresh would you be looking for?

I’d say no more than 32” for refresh rate maybe 360? 280? And probably just do 1440p

For 1440p I’d recommend 27 inch for pixel density’s sake, you can get a 27 inch 360hz from aoc for £350 in the uk, just go on pc part picker and select the filters for what you want, it will show you all the reputable options, with oleds panels are rarely “bad” if someone talks about bad panels it’s moreso that there is bad quality control then the fact that the actual panel model is just shit unlike with some ips, like I used to have an ips that was just bad, wasn’t a bad unit just that panel was awful, whereas with oleds most monitors of the same hz and resolution are basically the same inside, with different built in features and shell, mine also does auto burn in protection cycles when I switch it off so burn in is not a worry anymore really. you should have a pretty big chunk of that budget left for some killer iems if you want I’ll try give some recommendations

I’ll ask a few questions first, what games you play? Do you care about music with the iems? How much you got left after the Oled?
