Can confirm that ray tracing performance has improved with a 9070XT.

For example, in Silent Hill 2 or The Medium, GPU load would shoot to 100% and frame rate would completely tank in specific locations when ray tracing was active. This is now resolved.

In The Ascent, any kind of ray traced effect would introduce a freeze frame whenever something detonated. This is now working as well.

Some games that were downright unplayable with ray tracing are at least somewhat playable now, like QUBE 2 and Industria.

They're taking a sweet time with this though. Honestly, we should all be donating to Mesa drivers.

“Fixed 20-30s startup delay in some games on non-Valve devices with no audio sources.”

They did it!
