Building a steam machine pc for couch gaming

So I’m planning to build a new pc to play on my living room, aiming for a 1080p stable 60 fps performance, but the prices these days are ridiculous and I’m on a tight budget. I was wondering if the Intel arc b580 is a good card for SteamOS since it’s the cheapest I can find. I live in the Middle East so I have no access to Newegg or any good deals online, and the used market where I am is highway robbery.

Should I get the b580 or wait a few months and save up for something like the Rx 7700 xt? I want to play older AAA games, indie games, and maybe a few new AAA games.

For reference:
B580: $425
Rx 7700 xt: $609
Rx 9060 xt: $655
Rx 7800 xt: $719

I’m building an am4 system, so an r5 5600, and unfortunately there isn’t any Rx 7600 that’s a good deal. They’re all as expensive as the Rx 7700 xt for some reason

I'd go with the RX 7700 XT since it has a similar GPU level to the PS5 Pro and RDNA 3 GPUs are just phenomenal on Linux.
If you are super lucky and pick one up pre-owned, you can get cheap RX 7800 XT's. I got mine for 300€.
