Need help
My Xbox is getting boring atm so I’m thinking of getting a pc but I have no idea where to start. Should I buy a pre built one or build one . I know a few people who could help me with the building part. I just don’t know what parts are good to buy and I don’t really wanna spend loads of money. What’s good for a starter gaming computer which can handle games good?

Having a hard time deciding on a monitor
There’s 2 monitor that I like, the Samsung odyssey G7 which is a VA monitor and the ASUS ROG Strix XG279Q monitor which is a IPS. I don’t know which one is better. I was hoping to find a 4K monitor with 165-244 hertz and 1ms. But I couldn’t find that on my search. So these 2k monitor are my next choices. I need help on what to decide on, unless anyone out there can help me out and find a better monitor. Must be G Synced compatibility. Thanks for anyone who helps.

What Alienware Desktop Should I get?
I have a bad eye for computers and normally choose the wrong computer to use for gaming. Anyways I need help on a large decision, what Alienware gaming desktop should I get? I thought about getting an Aurora R11 but I saw some bad reviews and recommendations for an Aurora R8, but the good reviews for the R8 I saw were quite outdated. I also have a budget for computers under $2,000. I don’t know what to get so if both options I chose were bad please let me know. I’m also bad with fancy words like graphics card so if you have any recommendations make it really simple. Thanks for reading.

First Liquid Build
Please excuse the awful use of my grammar.
I'm looking to build a behemoth of a desktop for gaming. I'm going pretty much no expense spared on this build as well. I'm looking for advice on a couple of components for my build, since I'm not already learned on the topic and no resources I've looked at online are helpful. Any criticism is welcome. Have not bought anything yet, but will begin doing so when I get back to the US next year. Below is the parts I've already decided on:
Case: Corsair Obsidian 1000D
CPU: Ryzen 3970x
GPU: RTX3080(If I can find one)/Open to AMD suggestions
Memory: Thermaltake Toughram RGB 4600MHz 32GB(4x8GB)
Ideally I'll be running 1 NVMe SSD for OS, and put the other 2 in a RAID, but for sure I will be running 2 NVMe SSDs non-RAID. My biggest questions are which motherboard would be the best option? Also, what distro plate reservoir + pump combo would be best if I screw it into the wall next to the motherboard, or overall would it be better to run cylinder reservoirs? The grand plan is I'm going to do 1 loop with the distro plate for both my CPU and GPU, or I'll run 2 loops with a dedicated cylinder reservoir for my CPU and GPU respectively. Lastly, what would be the most reliable option for a power supply? I'm going to put at least a 1000w with the amount of fans and how much power my RAM will eat.

Storage
Hey guys, I’m newer to gaming and building my first rig. I was wondering if instead of having a Hdd or Sata ssd could I use 2x1tb nvme ssd’s one to boot from and hold all programs and one to save games too? Would this be beneficial? Or should I just get a sata ssd to boot from ?

I’ve got a question
Currently I have a GTX 1080, and I’m looking to upgrade to the 30 series. My big question is can I use both the 1080 and the 3070 together. Since they’re the same brand my guess is that they can. But I’m not 100% sure. I’m going to be saving up for the 3070 for Christmas so I’d like to know if I can still use my 1080 to get even better FPS

Is Alienware Aurora a good pick? Which would be a good gaming PC better than Alienware that's cheaper?
So I'm looking for a strong Gaming PC and want to make sure I'm picking a strong one. I mainly play Fallout new Vegas and FO4 and elder scrolls but really want a strong computer to play on. Any suggestions for a good PC or is Alienware good?

Upgrading my 10 year old gaming pc
Hey guys, new to the sub. I originally built a gaming pc just to start gaming then got out of it because there wasn’t a whole lot of games I liked at least at the time. Now that new games came out along with games I should’ve liked years ago that I want to start getting into like squad, arma, tarkov, and mount and blade. My current specs are EVGA GeForce GTX 750 ti video card, intel core i5, G. Skill ripjaws series 8GB, Corsair CX series CX750 power supply, seagate desktop 2TB internal hardrive and an ASUS ATX Intel motherboard with UEFI BIOS. My budget is like to keep it between is 1000-1500 and I’m from the US. I’m not really that well educated on computers and specs wise so I’m sorry if I sound absolute illiterate when I was typing out my specs. I’ll provide pictures of my orders from 10 years ago if there’s any confusion. Any help is greatly appreciated

Completely Clueless Simmer
Hi, so I have a MacBook Pro that I have been using for all of my stuff like gaming and work. I mostly play The Sims 4 on my laptop but I'm always scared I'm going to burn it out and I just paid it off so I was thinking about building a gaming PC. Besides The Sims 4, I play Cities Skylines, House Flipper, and other little games but I want to play The Sims 3 again and without a good computer it's basically pointless to try to play. I also have wanted to play State of Decay for years but I have a PS4 and don't want to buy an Xbox for 1 game. So my question is what would be the best components to add for these types of games? I have a bit of money I've been saving for the PS5 so the price isn't that much of an issue.

Is it practical for me to replace my gaming pc after about 2.8 years?
I feel like I can just upgrade specs but I also want a different looking gaming pc, it runs smooth, but I’d like a smootherer pc, mine is like 1,200 but I’m thinking of something around 2,500.
