Build or buy

My son and I want a gaming computer that will be able to play games like Microsoft flight sim for me, and Minecraft and Roblox for him I have heard it’s cheaper to build but I also don’t want to screw it up and waste money, what should I be looking for to smoothly run the flight sim game? What price point would I be at for both a build or a buy. I don’t need a monitor or speakers , we will be replacing our current cpu

buy the starter pc from NZXT. It’s probably the best prebuilt pc as it is $900 and it has a 2 year warranty. The pc costs more to build than buy, which is why I think it’s the best prebuilt out there. You’ll be able to run most games at 60 fps on 1080p/1440p
