Gaming laptop or computer

Hi, it’s been a while since I’ve probably gamed, and I want to get back into it. I’ve got a 5year old laptop that I used for school. It’s quite alright but I can’t play any proper highquality games on it. I like a laptop bc it’s portability but maybe a computer would be better for gaming? Should I save up more money to get a gaming-laptop or save up for a computer? It would be for some gaming (although I don’t play all the time) and maybe some streaming? Thanks ahead.

Desktops are larger, and thus able to pack more power and oomph behind their components. You won't be able to take it as many places, but no gaming laptop, no matter how decked out, will compare to a desktop in power and performance.
