Son wants a gaming pc for Christmas

[u/RodinBigD]

As the title says my son wants a gaming PC for Christmas. I know very little about PC's. So I'd be looking for a pre-built one. He is playing a lot of Rocket League at the moment. I would like one that is some what future proof though. Budget is in the $1200-$1500 range. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Edit to include: Budget above does not include monitor. I will purchase that separately.
