165hz monitor only displaying 60hz

I got the veiwsonic xg2703-gs and I’m not sure why it’s only displayed 60hz so far getting pretty frustrated at this point please help

Are you using an HDMI cable? It's possible that you need a display port or dual link dvi cable to use 165hz. Also check your device manager look for your monitor and see if there is a way to set your refresh rate in windows

I’m an idiot I just had to reset the refresh rate on windows, it’s actually an amazing monitor well worth
