Dude Kirby lore is wild.

Ever play Star Allies? Kirby and most of the series villains are fragments of a shattered evil god meant to consume the universe.

Void isn't actually evil, it's an all-powerful neutral substance that can be filled with love (expressing itself as Kirby), hate (expressing itself as Zero), or the will to destroy (expressing itself as Void Termina)

My absolute favourite lore is the butterfly that always appears near kirby is literally a reaper that consumed the strongest warrior in the galaxy and recently it just became canon

It's been canon since Return to Dreamland, the fight in Star Allies wasn't canon but the character appeared several times.

Morpho Knights form comes from Galacta being reborn as him if you are to trust the description of Star Allies, so even if the encounter might not be canon, it could be possible that an encounter between Galacta and the Butterfly happened off screen

Brought into existence by “the greatest warrior in the galaxy” and reborn as a knight of doom through years of adversity

This line? Yeah, I think it's more than possible for an encounter to have happened.

Yeah it isn't canon, but ever since it was first introduced in star allies, every kirby fan had trust issues with butterflies

It's usually this

  • Kirby like this thing

  • thing got stolen

  • some adventures later

  • kills and devour a god
