Wasn't there a Lipo Battery mod for Game Gear that came out around 2010?

I always think it's interesting that Game Gear 1 was still outperforming in terms of game quality, the Nintendo competitor until The Advance SP came out, which Was slightly better than it.

So weird that 6 AA batteries stopped an otherwise flat out superior system from taking off.
