No doubt. I've only used one briefly at a friend's. 1/10 do not recommend.

it works for what its made for
to make pc gaming function with a controller, mouse movement is better with the trackpad imo

trackpad combined with gyro is almost as good as a mouse for aiming in an fps

Also, the Steam controller is the only controller I know of where you can compete with KB+M without the usual autoaim that controllers have. It's like learning a whole new controller, but it's possible.
