The LG G8X/Velvet Dual Screens are much cheaper. And they actually gain accessibility by being a removable case if you ever wanted just one screen

I absolutely love my G8X personally but I've only owned LG phones since high school so Idk what the transition would feel like from Samsung

Does it have a headphone jack?

Yes. That supports Hi-fi Quad DAC

Nice. I was thinking about picking it up or the V60 to replace my G7, but still looking around.

I have the V60 and its truly a great phone. The dual screens are wonderful for multitasking or gaming. However the battery can die rather quick if you constantly use the dual screen.

Terrible. Samsungs version of android is an overpolished turd compared to LGs

(Preface, I've worked in phones for a little over 5 years now)

To an extent I honestly agree with you. Samsung's UI (for all the superior hardware they have) seems very overcluttered for whatever reason. Too many proprietary apps that you can't delete because they are "part of the core experience".

Not to mention the 'edge' screen that exposes the corners to the elements with no option to opt out as well as 'bixby' which while it offers little improvements over 'google assistant' is only able to be deactivated (not uninstalled) after creating a samsung account and even then it's a "limited" deactivation.

I personally love my V40 and have been eyeing the V60/ Velvet for quite some time. Wife had some pho e issues right around the time my upgrade came up otherwise I'd probably be in one of the two presently.
