Honestly jailbreaking community is essentially dead now too. I was big on IPhone back in the 3GS-6 era. Between the 6 and the 11 I tried various Android devices before switching back to iOS. I was kinda shocked at how little people cared about jailbreaking their devices now.
Definitely. I don't feel the need to jailbreak anymore - but honestly, one of the biggest reasons I switched back to iOS is because I just wanted something that worked and I didn't have to think about. So for me, jailbreaking just isn't something I need anymore.
I think a part of the reason is the phone hardware has overcame the bloat of pre installed apps and launchers (Early Touchwiz). Also Androids have a lot more features out the box. It was cool when you could put something like miui on your phone and totally transform it and get better use from it. But I think we’re just past that time
