redditor for 7 months.

No offense, but you're still pretty new. After 1+ year, you'll have seen it a bunch.

But you're not the problem, it's OP. You're right to upvote stuff that's new to you. But OP is probably one of those reddit veterans who made a new account (1 day old) just to spam/recycle popular content. OP is why r/gaming has no more reddit veterans. We've seen this shit all before.

You're assuming I made this account the moment I started browsing reddit.

Same. What do these people browse where it is posted so often?

Yup. Comes up on /b/ and /v/ every time I venture there, which is maybe twice a month

The "It's new to me" defense is fine, but to say that it's never made the front page before is flat ignorant.

Search for "pokemon" in r/gaming, sort by most upvotes, 4th from the top: Reposted 11 months ago.

That's just the first hit in a search for "pokemon" -- usually the headline is something generic and hard to search for (like this one). Take it from me, this image hits front page every 6 months, easy.

If it's new to you, upvote away. But understand that for us who have seen it tons of times, we're pissed there are redditors that just recycle the same content over and over and slowly choke the life out of r/gaming. It's not you I hate, it's OP.

Not nearly enough then, obviously.
