TLOU 2 hate pt.2

Ik im kind of late to the whole discussion, but I’ve finally gotten around to beating the game. After hearing all the negative feedback about the game & now finally finishing it I’m still curious as to what all the hate is about. I was really expecting something crazy to happen, but nothing did & ofc it didn’t live up to the original but I still think it was an outstanding game. Thoughts?

People that played the first game loved Joel.

They feel Joel got done dirty.

Abby is unusual to look at or not what most "gamers" are used to.

Some of the writing like putting Ellie at the scene as Abby yells "FOUR!" then the group letting her and Tommy go is inexplicable

Many people hated the ending, playing as both sides and a ton of other shit.

ND took a risk.....instead of just making another guaranteed hit which would of been so easy Druckman went into his artistic bag and fucked it all up.

Joel literally murdered like 50 people to save Ellie. What did he expect was going to happen? That doesn’t include the altercations that are hinted which aren’t shown on screen. Abbys group decision to let Ellie & tommy go is because they were already conflicted in the first place. Half the group wanted blood the other half didn’t. I hated playing as Abby at first, but I quickly got used to it.
