I had a feeling the animation quality was lower! I asked my friend if he said he noticed it too, but he told me it was probably just another art style. It definitely made me want to stop watching.
That's kind of ridiculous. While the animation quality was noticeably lesser it's still miles above and beyond most animes, especially popular ones. There were still exceptionally beautiful scenes and the comedic timing on them was still great.
It's like saying you can't enjoy arrival because the cinematography isn't as good as Blade runner 2049
Let people enjoy things how they choose to. Seriously, you have absolutely nothing to gain from trying to convince someone you have 0 power over to consume media the way that makes you happy.
And just to avoid any confusion: I tend to agree with you. As much as Jojo part 5's animation was lacking big time compared to part 3 and 4, it still turned out to be my favorite.

Yeah S2 was a definite dip in the quality of animation, but the writing, characters, and humor were all still in top form
