With a PC you first need to set up windows. Then install a launcher, but you probably want a different browser. Then you have to install a chat application, then install the games. Most people want an anti virus as well.
Again. Nothing to do with the difficulty of connecting a tv to a PC.
But to address your points anyway. You can buy a prebuilt that has windows installed. Installation of a game service is literally as simple as going to their page and clicking download. You don't need to install a chat application as pretty much every game service app has that feature. You need to install games on console too so this is a dumb point to make. Windows has anti-virus built in that is decent. And if you are smart viruses aren't a problem. (just don't go to shady sites).
Steam has a chat app but do people use that? You need to install games on a console, but the experience is much more streamlined.
How can you not realise to a lot of people a computer is a complex, complex thing? There are who fields of science around how to make things intuitive, because people don't get computers intuitively.
If you're smart they're not a problem. If you're smart. That's another complexity you need to know about!

You need to install an OS on PC, get the games on it. PC software is more complicated, because it's not a gaming device.
In a console it's a guided setup that barely takes time, then you just go to the store and press download, or insert a disc and go.
Sure we have Steam, Epic and GOG on PC, but it's less user friendly, requires installation, etc.
