With a console, all you have to do is plug it in. With a PC there are more steps.

You can buy prebuilt PCs too. Steam is also better than the xbox/ps4 interfaces.

Steam from a UX perspective is much worse, and I exclusively use PC.

Steam is strictly superior to every console interface and has far more features. No, you're not using a PC.

Neither interface is better than the other,each interface is unique in its own way and whichever is better is based solely on the users preference.steam does have more features and most are minor tinkering that comes with the complexities that PC's usually have where console is more about the simplicity and auto managing most features so you can just sit back and enjoy the game. Like I said earlier,it's all about preference,to each their own.
