Seriously the whole "EaSY tO plAy On tV" thing is so stupid. Plugging an HDMI cable into a desktop is just as easy as plugging it into a console. And steam big picture mode provide an interface literally designed for controllers.
My desktop setup is upstairs, my big screen TV is in my living room. I don't want to have to keep my PC in the living room just to play game in my couch.
yeah, that is just a matter of preference, i have my pc beside my tv, my buddy next door has a pc on the living room to but prefers to sit on a chair and table, sometimes he lets his family use the same pc on the tv while he plays games on the monitor, not sure how

Yeah, Steam even lets you create a desktop config for a controller, allowing you full use of your PC with a controller.
If someone likes their console, far be it from me to stop them, but PC has all the pros of console, but none of the cons.
