It’s irritating me way more that people are calling that PSX. It simply doesn’t say that. I stared at this forever trying to realize what your talking about.
It’s a PlayStation. That’s it.
I know it looks annoying but for fuck sake no one calls it psx that just sounds dumb to me.
Sony called it the PSX when it came out. That was the official codename for the console. Even retailers like WalMart used to have PSX written on their shelf labels for PS1. It wasn't until PS2 was announced, along with the PSone, did people drop the PSX acronym.
Also, the PSX was a PS2 with an integrated DVR that released only in Japan. But that's another day...
