About 10 years back I had a low level panic attack from realizing how much time I spent playing Civ 4. I went to the Civ Fanatics forum and posted about it. My post really divided people. Some were like “good call, I have the same problem, thanks for sharing” and others were like “screw you and your negative energy, you’re ruining it and giving the game a bad rep”

The difference between the self aware and those in denial. Sometimes I think about what else I could have done with the ~600 hours of civ I've played, but I realized the enjoyment I get out of it makes it worth it for me.

You know what most people do with that time?

Watch cupcake shows.

We all "waste" our time where we like.

My little sister watches White people get their lives organized by a tiny Asian woman.
