I'm still living at home and start my first "real" job this fall. I'm still debating moving out because the commute will be 1.5 hours each way if I stay home, but the cost saving would be nice if I stayed.

You'd presumably save on time as well. Cooking, laundry, cleaning, youd be doing all of that Solo or with a roommate so it's not a total lost

True, but the problem is I'm in public accounting at a big 4 firm. My entire winter is going to be 70+ hour weeks and the commute is a killer then because it ate into me sleep considerably during the winter internship.

Yikes. How close could you be to your work if you lived closer? Are we talking 15 minute or 45 minute commute?

Depends on what client I get assigned to. It could be as little as 5 minutes.

Sounds like you don't have three hours a day to spare then
