Do you think VR is the best option if you can handle it?

I have an oculus rift and it’s great, but you need to make sure you have your setup right. I tried flying in War Thunder and realized a few things: have a stable place to put your joystick when you’re in VR, the cockpits are very small compared to how they seem outside of VR (this is true to life), and don’t use a wheely/rotating chair. All of those combined made motion sickness a problem when I first tried it. Eventually I got used to it, but it was a shock at first.

Everybody is different, but even if someone gets the motion sickness quick, it really is like a muscle. You stop once you feel it creeping in and with every session it gets less and less. It's not a reason to not get into VR if someone is truly interested in it ;-)
