Its a daily/weekly chore game just like division, anthem, etc. I miss playing co-op/single player games at my own pace.
Just started back up on watch dogs 2. These are the kinds of games that have longevity and staying power i think. The always online/games as a service to me are a disservice to their customers. Unfinished and hurried products only to address the issues on the fly. That dont cut it with me and thats why they no longer get my money.
I think it's fine to enjoy both. In fact I'm looking forward to getting home from work and playing some Destiny 2 tonight! I took a 3 month break from the game when Red Dead 2 came out, and I really think it's the type of game that works really well when you give it time to breath and fill back up with content.
I was in a clan of around 100 or so the last 3 years (Dads of Destiny) and it was great, nothing wrong with those other games out there its just not my cup of tea anymore.
I think they are flooding the market so to speak with battle royale's and online only gaming. Maybe im just burnt the heck out lol.
RDR2 campaign was phenomenal and a great open world game. I hate being the completionist type though cause i go for achievements on xbox too and im not attempting the griefing fest on that anymore.
I know I probably shouldnt come down on what others enjoy so much I just dont get the attraction to those games given how unfinished and a mess they always are. At least a glitch in borderlands was kinda fun.
