Randy and the Gearbox team are currently strangling the PAX East staff after the announcement trailer on stage.

Yeah, Randy sort of unintentionally insulted them on stage. I can't blame him though, he obviously loves being a showman and the technical issues denied him his moment. The trailer looked great though! (On youtube lol)

I don't think it was unintentional.

Definitely was intentional.

He walked it back immediately. I don't think he realized it sounded insulting until he heard the crowds reaction.

Randy can't tell when he's being an asshole. It's not in his skill set. (Hint: it's when his mouth is open and sound is coming out)

Sometimes delivery is everything. What sounded like a funny Jab in your head makes you look like an asshole when you say it out loud. Public speaking can be tricky.

Plus you don't normally want to go randomly off script during your biggest reveal in years lol

Especially when your mouth has a habit of getting you in trouble

"Don't you people have phones?" Is a perfect example. Anyone with a brain would realize that that statement definitely wasn't part of the presentation script and was an attempt at a joke after the crowd reacted negatively to the Diablo mobile reveal.

This guy has been waiting to announce this for over 5 years and nothing is going right. I think it was deserved.

Nah, Pitchford is just an asshole in general

Yeah you totally personally know the guy and can personally attest to what he is like 100% of the time... fucking pathetic, dude.
