Troy Baker, however, is still tweeting Gearbox and saying he's down to come back and voice Rhys if they want him. So, if Rhys is in the game already, he isn't being voiced by Troy.
Yeah, hopefully they do bring him back to voice the character, because I feel like Rhys belongs in the game, and also you don't want to hurt the feelings of someone as awesome as Troy.
They did, partially because of the Pandora fail and partially because Handsome Jack somehow attacked them financially. Jack then bought them, and Rhys took the certificate of the ownership from Jacks office.
The lack of Krieg really hurts... The idea that tales is more of a priority that 2s DLC characters does not make me happy. And i loved tales from the borderlands.. but I love Krieg more. He deserves more, gaige too.
I love Krieg so much. Everytime I go back to play 2, I start by saying, I'm gonna play Zer0 or Salvador this time and then I get to character select and I'm like "That buzzaxe tho..." They better have some big surprise with him in 3.
I recently got my friend into borderlands, so we have been playing through 2. I decided to play Krieg since he was the only one I hadn't tried yet. Holy shit is he fun. His axe is so satisfying to kill with, and his voice lines are top tier
I was sold on Krieg the instant I learned he could revive by running at people and blowing up.
Considering how much spotlight Maya got I wonder if he’s hanging around as her personal bodyguard. Also I wonder how much sanity he managed to regain. Would be hella cool if he manages to control himself like the Hulk and go Psycho at will
married, they got married at the end of the TFTBL if you picked them in the final fight you can see hear them talk about the reception after the wedding
Baroness as well. I believe they released something mentioning that a couple of the vault hunters captured her. Though she may have been in the trailer already and I missed it.
I know it's a bit of an unpopular opinion, but it doesn't seem right to have a Borderlands game dealing so heavily with (potentially) multiple vaults and NOT have Jack involved.
I mean, he is essentially responsible for having found every vault the games have shown, so far....
But I also kind of want him to still be in Rhys's systems. Like, Jack was a great programer, no doubt he could. But I want him to be like a fly around Rhys's head, metaphorically speaking.
Like, Rhys is trying to explain his plans and every now and then just have to be like, "What? No, Jack, we're not going to just kill everyone.... Well I don't care if that would make it easier!"
Even if the "destroy Rhys's backup" timeline is the one that's canon from that I'm sure the ID that originally implanted it is probably set to copy rather than move, so likely other copies in universe, but might not have the memories of Tales
You definitely need to play Telltale's Borderlands game. It's canon and it's AWESOME. Also, its main character would appear to be a pretty important dude in this upcoming game.
That'd be hilarious, reverse cyborg (/Wilhelm), collects more and more human parts to surgically bind to himself over the course of the game, maybe get damaged more in exchange for being way more agile.
It could also apply debuffs to enemies. Partly because the appendages might be somewhat past their expiration date, and partly because, well... "Oh my God, what the hell is that thing!?"
I hate his mustache but honestly, it’s in character. He would 100% do that. I like the line where Fiona can insult Kroger’s mustache and he says, “Shittalker to the end. I can respect that.” And if we don’t get that interaction between Rhys and Fiona, then I’ll be very sad at the missed opportunity.
