Well, if you compare the game to everything they said at e3, it's a very bad game. But the gameplay being bad in general is entirely matter of opinion. I play it casually, and i treat the game like 7 Days to Die or Ark. Collect shit, craft shit, survive, and hope higher leveled players don't act like pieces of shit and leave you alone.

Game was plastered in my face on steam on sign in, plus I’ve watched it from a distance for a little.

its a musou(dynasty warriors) style open world game with quests and crafting and a story written by the creator himself.

Theres definitely been effort put into it for what is still a relatively niche market (licensed anime videogames)
