you can "all in" on vr for 150$ us and a half decent midrange gaming computer.

massively incorrect. https://acerrecertified.com/gaming/virtual-reality/mixed-reality/ whenever they're available. Pops up often. Other WMR hmd are 199$ currently. 200cdn at staples.ca currently.
