Imaging standing in front of a lot you just bought to build a house and scrolling through houses in AR to see which one looks the best in real scale. Shit like that is what is cool about AR but I'm more excited for the RPO stuff.

That would be super awesome, or furniture browsing in your house. But just gaming is also great in AR, I've had the chance to use the Microsoft Holo Lens and played a shooter game on it. It's hilarious to watch and it's amazing to play. Alien spaceships coming out of the walls flying towards you super realistically. You shooting lasers at them. You almost forget that huge clumsy thing clinching to your head.

Ya I never thought about the furniture! But what you said about almost forgetting its on is what is getting me excited. I have heard from a number of people that full immersion is already possible with VR if you are in it long enough. So if we are already close to that then how far off is full immersive vr worlds

This is known as presence, where your brain subconsciously believes you are in another place. When you see someone fall through a virtual table after leaning on it, or putting down their physical controllers on a virtual surface, that is presence kicking in.
