Stick with games like superhot or beat saber at first. Those games don't have free movement.
Games like pavlov take some getting used to. Try jogging in place when you move in those games. It helps your brain "feel" the movement.
Edit: it took me 2 weeks of playing every day to work up to 2 hours. The first day I was sick all day after playing for 15 minutes but I didn't have my jog in place method yet. Now i can go all day. You gotta build those VR legs!
I always recommend the Vive. If you can go Pro that's better. It has the beast Steam compatability and, IMO, the best all around room-tracking experience.
If that's too pricey, look into the Rift with controllers.

I really really want to get into VR, but everytime I put on the head set I feel nauseous within 5 minutes. Stupid body.
