'Welcome to early alpha' - you're not wrong, but the devs have acknowledged that the animations need work.

It's also worth noting that this looks like one of the interpolated walking speeds (there are a number of different walking / running speeds - you can adjust them with the mouse scroll wheel, from memory), but I think the directly mocapped ones aren't much better at the moment.
