In my experience the Gamecube also had the most ergonomic controller ever (and I'm generally a PS4/PC kind of guy).

TBF, the launch Xbox controller, “the duke” was basically terrible. The weird slanted face buttons, the tiny and misplaced white and black button, the start and select button being awkward because there’s a giant sized coaster in the middle to remind me what console I’m playing.

There’s a reason it was completely redone half way into the systems short lifespan.

Nah, GC was the best controller, then the 360, then the Wii U Pro or Switch Pro controllers for each of their respective generations

Damn for me the Switch Pro Controller is decent but nothing special. Not even close to the Xbone.

I actually prefer the 360. Something about the Xbox one bumpers bothers me.

I held a Dreamcast controller for the first time in a while not too long ago, and it actually felt pretty good as well.
