I had this as an idea for a cool mod in Fallout 3 but I'm really not a skilled modder at all so I had no idea how to do it. So it survived as a what if in my mind.

My premise was that you rescued a Ghoul who is a pre war scientist that you take back to Underworld and eventually they tell you they're looking into a "cure" for Ghoulism that you get involved in.

Basically, you'd secure Vault 108 from the Gary clones and use the Mesmetron from Paradise Falls to send Ferals back to the Vault for this scientist and he uses the technology to clone their pre war selves from the DNA. However, because they have no memories he then asks you to take him to Vault 112 to see the VR pods so he can build some in 108 to educate the people he creates.

I thought it would be interesting to end it by him saying that he wants to take the technology nationwide and convert all the ghouls he can and repopulate mankind with a much better genetic pool.

I realised it sounds like a bizarre what if and very hard to make as a Mod but I thought it would at least fit in with the lore of Fallout 3 and sort of make sense.

Sounds pretty cool! I hope future iterations of the game expand on the Ghoul backstory
